The university has embarked on the implementation of a robust, scalable, metadata-driven data governance framework which prioritises high value, high-risk data assets.  This will ensure that secure, trusted, and high-quality data assets are accessible and governed in alignment with enterprise priorities—enabling innovation, compliance, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making.

The role contributes to metadata and reference data standards, metadata quality, completeness and maintenance processes, and data documentation that supports trusted, governed, and reusable enterprise data assets.
