We are looking for a Data Engineer with good understanding of BI Systems, coding experience in any language and SQL experience for a position at one of the biggest insurance companies worldwide located in Tokyo.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with users and project team on requirements and expectations
  • Analyze business requirements, create proper data solutions
  • Define the data architecture, structure, storage, security model of data
  • Design and implement highly scalable data pipelines in Scala/Spark/Java
  • Create and maintain reusable frameworks for data ingestion
  • Create scripts for operations, releases, data migrations, data validations
  • Maintain data lineage information
