Qualifications

  • Expert-level expertise in SQL and high proficiency in Python.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse, with BigQuery strongly preferred.
  • Expertise with Data Transformation Tools (dbt) for data modelling and pipeline development.
  • Proficiency with Workflow Orchestration tools, specifically Apache Airflow.
  • Strong practical experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
  • Proficiency in data warehousing theory (e.g., Kimball, Data Vault).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical designs and project status clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with data migration projects a plus.
