Data Engineer

Job Description:

Our department manages and develops databases and processes data across all divisions (ISG and MSWM) and business lines (FID, IED), including front office reference, finance and risk data. The databases run on Sybase, DB2, KDb, Greenplum, Hadoop, and MongoDB technologies. ITARA owns several datamarts and business intelligence platforms (Business Objects, Qlikview and Tableau) to enable end user data analysis. Ownership includes database modeling, physical database design, SQL development, capacity planning, performance tuning, database maintenance and ETL pipelines.The Datamarts Analytics team is looking for talented data engineers to join our global team of highly technical individuals who manage many databases that include Big Data volumes. We deliver multiple projects for multiple business areas in parallel. The business owners and subject matter experts are globally distributed, making strong communication skills important to the position.
