The Role

This role is a Data Engineer which is part of our Technology Services infrastructure team. This role is a key part of the function that delivers and maintains the technology enabling our colleagues, partners, and customers every day. Our business is fast-moving, and we operate with rapidly evolving targets and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, maintain and enhance data integrations in Databricks
  • Merge and cleanse data to provide a reliable and curated data layer.
  • Engage effectively and proactively with multiple stakeholders and Product Owners to understand requirements and set priorities.
  • Assess and implement suitable data solutions to meet business needs.
  • Manage costs, capacity, and efficiency of the decision support system, including forecasting.
