Job Description

A regional retail organization is building a Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) within its GCP Data Lake environment.

The team requires an Intermediate Data Engineer to develop new ETL pipelines in BigQuery and support data integration across multiple downstream platforms.

The engineer will report directly to the Data Engineering Lead for development work.

⇒ Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new ETL/ELT pipelines within GCP.
  • Build and optimize scalable data pipelines feeding BigQuery.
  • Implement orchestration and processing workflows beyond BigQuery.
  • Ensure data quality, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Support data integration across: Analytics and reporting layers; Applications and APIs; Other internal platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and potentially engage with stakeholders when required.
