Job Description
The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and managing a robust data infrastructure and data pipelines. Their outputs are reliable Data Products in support of Business Intelligence and Analytics assets which deliver actionable insights, facilitate informed decision-making and enable strategic planning.
Accountabilities:
- Develop, automate, test and maintain data products in alignment with architectural designs, best practices and maintaining data quality
- Acquire, model and analyze data to support business requirements
- Define and implement end to end ETL / ELT data pipelines for new data sources
- Perform code/automation reviews, provide feedback and make recommendations to continuously improve quality.
- Actively participate in the CoP & develop Data Engineering Best Practices
- Identify and contribute technical requirements and enablers onto the product backlog and architectural runway
