Data Encoder

Job Summary:

The Data Encoder is responsible for accurately encoding, updating, and maintaining warehouse records and inventory data in the system. He/She ensures that all stock movements (receipts, issuances, returns, and transfers) are properly documented and recorded to support smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Encode and update inventory transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS) or company database.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of incoming and outgoing stocks.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for monitoring and auditing purposes.
• Ensure that all documents related to deliveries, withdrawals, and transfers are properly filed and encoded.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel regarding discrepancies, damaged goods, and stock adjustments.
