Data Controls Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated contractor for the Senior Data Controls Lead position to drive delivery of critical data controls across Finance, Risk, Compliance and Markets. The Senior Data Controls Lead will act as SME, providing insight and leadership, as well as oversight in data governance, control design, and issue remediation. The role requires a balance of technical understanding, business acumen, Markets product knowledge, and strong stakeholder management.

Required Qualifications & skills

• 8-12 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Risk/Controls functions within financial services or similarly regulated industry
• Strong SQL skills with ability to read and write complex scripts, leveraging queries for data analysis, anomaly detection, and validation of data quality and controls
