Job Purpose

The Data Center Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems within the data center environment. This includes supporting infrastructure automation, ensuring system reliability, and working closely with electrical, mechanical, and IT teams to optimize critical facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage PLC-based systems for power, cooling, fire suppression, and other facility infrastructure.
• Implement and configure PLC logic and control systems for new and existing equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on control systems and PLC panels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, IT) to integrate PLC systems with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
