Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Rjukan, Norway. This is an on-site position supporting mission‑critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

Compensation

kr250–350/hr (NOK hourly). Rates vary based on experience level and project complexity. Emergency and after-hours work may qualify for premium rates.

Engagement Type

Contract/freelance basis. Flexible scheduling available. Project‑based or ongoing support. Remote hands and smart hands services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hardware installations, decommissioning, and migrations
  • Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
  • Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling
  • Perform cross‑connects and patch panel work
