Data Center Technician L3

Overview

The Data Center Sites Technician III will be responsible for day-to-day data center support activities, including but not limited to:

• server and network hardware installation
• copper / fiber-optic cabling
• layer 1 troubleshooting and IT asset management
• network hardware and CLI troubleshooting
• Be comfortable using and troubleshooting Linux and server level BIOS issues

The Site III Technician will need to be conversant in common networking hardware Command Line Interfaces (CLI) such as Cisco, Arista, Dell, and Juniper. The Site III Technician will also need to be skilled in using and navigating different flavors of Linux. Site III Technicians monitor and respond to hardware and software issues, utilizing industry standard ticketing systems, and provide clear, timely and appropriate customer communications.
