Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Data Center Technician L2 / Data Center Operations Engineer for their Portland, OR location. Responsibilities:
+ Hands-on Troubleshooting & Break-Fix Skills
+ Cabling & Documentation Discipline
+ Perform rack & stack of servers, network devices, and storage equipment
+ Handle cabling (fiber & copper) including labeling and cable management
+ Support installation, relocation, and decommissioning of hardware
+ Troubleshoot a variety of servers and isolate the problem that the server is encountering.
+ Order replacement parts and install them in servers and ship back the defective part to their respective vendors.
+ Update firmware on servers to ensure the latest version is installed.
+ Configure IP addresses and default login credentials on servers.
+ Reach out and assist network admins on any issues they are having w...
