Data Center Technician

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Center Cabling Technician to support structured cabling and physical layer infrastructure within a high-performance data center environment in Abeline, TX.

This role is heavily focused on fiber and copper installations, cable management, and ensuring clean, efficient, and scalable connectivity across the facility.

Key Responsibilities Install, route, and secure  fiber optic and copper cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, SM/MM fiber) Perform  rack and stack support  with an emphasis on proper cable routing and management Terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber (LC, SC, MPO/MTP) and copper connections Read and interpret  cable run lists, floor plans, and network diagrams Label cables and ports according to data center standards and maintain accurate documentation Perform cable tracing, auditing, and cleanup to maintain organized pathways Use testing equipment such as  OTDR, power meters, and cable cer...
