Data Center Operations Technician (DCEO)

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly and looking for a Data Center Operations Technician (DCEO) to join its expanding Infrastructure Operations team in Pointe‑Claire, QC.

The Engineering and Operations Technician is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center. Data center equipment that supports mission‑critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. This role also drives innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities and serves as Amazon's front‑line respondent for electrical and mechanical issues affecting Amazon's availability.

Equipment includes, but is not limited to: standby diesel generators and related fuel systems, switchboards/switchgears, UPS systems, PDUs, AHUs, CRAHUs, CRACs, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems.
