Data Center Facility Engineer - UAE National Only

Position Overview

AWS has an opportunity for a Data Center Facility Engineer in Dubai for a UAE national with a family book. The role involves operating and maintaining AWS Data Center mechanical and electrical infrastructure, ensuring safety, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain highest safety standards and lead safety initiatives.
• Operate and maintain UPSs, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, ATSs, Diesel Generators, Chillers, HVAC, Exhaust Fans, VFDs, and Transformers.
• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical emergency generators, HVAC and fire/life safety equipment.
• Respond to facility and rack‑level events, perform root cause analysis, and reduce operational costs.
• Work rotational shifts (12‑hour days, nights, quarters) and respond to on‑call rotations.
• Take daily operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment.
