Data Archiving Architect

Job Description

· Overall 10+ years of experience in the SAP Basis.

· Strong experience in SAP Data tiering – Native Storage Extension (NSE), Archiving systems setup, with hands-on expertise in archiving processes and related tools.

· Setup the systems for SAP-standard data archiving strategies for:

SAP ECC on HANA (business object–based archiving)

SAP BW on HANA (data tiering)

· Configuration and managing archiving objects, archiving variants, archiving jobs

· System setup for archiving on: OpenText/ SAP Object Store / NLS solutions

· Analyze HANA memory utilization, unloads, and reclaim activities

· Identify large and fast-growing tables / Info Providers. Validate memory and performance improvements post-archiving

· Experience in at least one end-to-end project involving archiving/tiering for BW on HANA and ECC on HANA.
