Job Description
Convert clinical trial inclusion/exclusion criteria into precise, computable logic.
Build and maintain semantic/business layer structures for patient cohort identification.
Develop complex SQL (CTEs, window functions, UDFs/TVFs) and Python-based data logic.
Collaborate with Data Engineering and AI teams to design scalable cohort models.
Validate data outputs using EHR, claims, labs, and other clinical datasets.
Communicate requirements and results clearly with clinical and product stakeholders.
Requirements
Strong SQL and Python (procedural programming).
Experience interpreting clinical trial protocols (I/E criteria).
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Understanding of healthcare data structures and quality assurance methods.
Experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, Athena) or GCP (Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, BigQuery).
Familiarity with FHIR, OMOP, CDISC, or semantic/ontology modeling.
