Business Analyst – Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and objectives.
Document, analyze, and refine functional and non‑functional requirements.
Convert business requirements into clear technical specifications for data, reporting, and engineering teams.
2. Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary bridge between business users, data engineers, and BI developers.
Conduct workshops, requirement sessions, and alignment meetings.
Maintain transparent communication, provide progress updates, and manage expectations.
3. Data Analysis & Validation
Perform exploratory data analysis to support insights and decision‑making.
Review and validate outputs from SQL queries, dashboards, and Power BI reports.
Ensure data quality by checking accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
