Job Summary
West Valley Farm (Codroy Valley, NL) is hiring an experienced Dairy Herdsman to oversee approximately 400 Heifers. This is a full-time, year-round position starting May 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Dairy herd care and animal welfare
  • Artificial Insemination (AI) breeding and reproductive management
  • Monitor herd health, feeding, and performance
  • Operate tractors, skid-steer and farm equipment
  • Drive pickup trucks and cattle hauler between farming facilities
  • Maintain accurate herd and breeding records

Qualifications

  • Prove dairy or livestock management
  • AI Breeding experience (REQUIRED)
  • Comfortable with farm machinery
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Canadian Citizen
  • Able to work independently
  • References Required
