Cyber Security Specialist - Linux/Unix

Ignite are looking to hear from experienced Linux/Unix Cyber Security Specialist for one of our government clients.

Location: ACT, QLD, VIC, or WA
Duration: 12 months with 2x 12 months extension options
Citizenship Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen with NV1 clearance (mandatory)

Responsibilities: 

Analyse and report on secure Linux/Unix configurations

Conduct security assessments and audits of Linux/Unix systems

Collaborate with other cyber security specialists to recommend improvements to client’s overall cyber security resilience

Plan and recommend modifications to improve Linux/Unix security policies and procedures

Assess adequacy of Linux/Unix patching and update regimes

Required Skills/Experience

Demonstrated experience in Linux/Unix system administration and hardening.

Proficiency in Linux/Unix scripting languages and automation tools.
