Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

  • We are seeking an outstanding mid-level associate to join its Global Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Practice.

  • Candidates should have three to six years of relevant experience, which includes handling data privacy and cybersecurity matters.

  • Experience with artificial intelligence matters is also appreciated.

  • The ideal candidates will have experience assisting clients with: (i) enabling cybersecurity preparedness and data breach response; (ii) conducting regulatory investigations relating to data privacy and cybersecurity issues; (iii) building legally compliant data privacy and cybersecurity programs in the US (including for NIST, CCPA, CPA, BIPA, HIPAA, WMHMDA, and other US state and federal privacy laws), (iv) conducting data privacy and cybersecurity due diligence and M&A support; and/or (v) drafting privacy policies and negotiating data processing agreements.
