Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cutting, die-cutting, slitting, or guillotine machines for paper, paperboard, carton, and packaging materials.
• Set up machines according to job tickets, layouts, and cutting specifications.
• Inspect printed materials before and after cutting to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve correct dimensions and alignment.
• Monitor machine operation and immediately report defects or malfunctions.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines.
• Ensure proper handling and stacking of cut materials to avoid damage.
• Minimize material waste and maintain efficient production flow.
• Follow workplace safety rules, including proper use of PPE and machine guards.
• Maintain production records, job logs, and material usage reports.
• Coordinate with printing, finishing, and quality control personnel.
