Job Description
We are representing an established shipping / liner organization seeking an experienced Customer Service & Documentation Manager to lead export customer service operations and documentation functions.
This role requires strong hands-on shipping knowledge, people leadership experience, and the ability to drive operational discipline, service quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of 12 Customer Service staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee export customer service functions including bookings, vessel schedules, space control, and shipment coordination
- Manage and monitor export documentation processes such as B/L issuance, manifests, VGM submission, and regulatory compliance
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
