Responsibilities
- Greets all walk‑in customers at the dealership and creates a warm, friendly environment.
- Assists customers in a professional and friendly manner upon entrance.
- Reviews dealership calendar daily to stay aware of scheduled appointments and deliveries; generates floor activity reports.
- Documents vehicle mileage and obtains customer contact information.
- Maintains accurate daily log of customer and floor traffic information.
- Answers incoming phone calls and directs or relays messages to appropriate parties.
- Maintains professional appearance of showroom and work area.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months of customer service, receptionist, or clerical experience.
- Typing speed of 35 words per minute.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
