Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage patient recall efforts and referral tracking to ensure continuity of care
  • Operate within a virtual call-center environment to handle inbound and outbound calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately based on provider availability and patient needs
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into electronic health records and other systems
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments and assist patients with questions related to coverage
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and internal departments to facilitate a smooth patient experience
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
