Purpose Statement

The job of custodial/maintenance assistant is done for the purpose of maintaining an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for staff and public at NEWESD 101 and any associated facility, and minimizing property damage, loss, and liability exposure.

This position is eight hours per day, Monday through Friday. This position's shift will start at 2:00 p.m. and end at 10:30 p.m.

Functions

  • Cleans assigned facility (e.g. restrooms, walkways, stairways, grounds, snow removal, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment.
  • Conducts minor maintenance repairs (e.g. rough carpentry, insulation, siding, roofing, painting, operating cleaning machines and lawn equipment) for the purpose of maintaining/improving NEWESD 101 buildings and grounds.
