Custodian

Yorkton Tribal Council Child and Family Services Inc. is seeking a Custodian to perform general cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the YTL building to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment.

Job Overview

The Custodian will report directly to the Building Supervisor and play a vital role in maintaining a professional image by ensuring the internal and external appearance of YTL facilities meets the standards of its occupants.

Responsibilities

• Ensure office spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture, cleaning surfaces, sweeping/mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning and sanitizing toilets/sinks, and restocking disposables.
• Ensure all office entry ways are clean.
• Assist in maintaining outdoor premises.
• Assist in installing/maintaining appliances and equipment.
• Assist in minor repairs of YTL facilities (repair door knobs, minor leaks, etc.).
