Immediate Supervisor: Superintendent
Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent
Specific Duties
- Assist superintendent with interviews, screenings, and recommendations of employment of district custodians.
- Provide in-service meetings and training opportunities for custodial personnel.
- Supervise day-to-day operations of school cleaning.
- Assist other custodians as needed.
- Order and maintain cleaning supplies.
- Work with teachers and principals in maintaining the cleanliness of the schools.
- Plan daily requirements for cleaning each school.
- Monitor attendance of custodians and schedule substitutes as needed.
- Monitor each custodian to ensure no abuse of leave time.
- Ensure that all custodians work the allotted contract days.
