Custodial Services Worker II

A School Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role supports the daily operations of the school by ensuring classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas are well-maintained and ready for use.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including following OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, hallways, cafeterias, gyms, and office areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Set up rooms for events, meetings, and school activities
• Monitor building security by locking/unlocking doors and reporting safety concerns
