Job Description

The CS Software & Electrical Designer - Packaging will be part of the Packaging Machine Process Excellence & Customer Requests team and the role will manage the quotation and software and hardware development of customer requests.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analise customer request

  • Customize existing software and development of new solutions on Siemens Simotion PLCs

  • Perform internal tests for the automation part of the machines, also managing non-standard software

  • Using Ladder, Motion Control Chart and Structured programming language

  • Create software architecture, defining how different parts of the system will interact with each other

  • Develop the machinery upgrade to be fulfilled

  • Manage any issues during assembly and testing

  • Periodic alignment on standardization developments
