A Shift Lead is responsible for managing one of the working shifts, completing the duties outlined in the Baker job description and overseeing direct reports to the general manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees reporting to you meet performance expectations.
• Effectively instruct and guide other employees during the shift.
• Establish a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Approve work hours for your team.
• Maintain attendance records and measure key performance indicators.
• Keep accurate records and produce reports that facilitate performance reviews.
