Overview

Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements to evaluate the risks associated with the counterparty’s creditworthiness. They use analytical techniques to evaluate lending and business risks, prepare reports, and make credit decisions within defined authority levels.

Scope and Responsibilities

• Execute risk assessment appropriate to each customer and credit application type.
• Evaluate financial data (balance sheets, income statements, financial ratios) and interpret results from automated decision‑making; prepare audit trail reports.
• Perform credit analysis for origination, including KYC, rating updates, and issue credit opinions; register new customers in risk system as needed.
• Validate information for automatic or semi‑automatic decisions.
