Job Description

This position helps minimize the Bank’s credit risk and contributes to cards issuing business profitability through:



  • Applying underwriting fundamentals and existing credit policy and guidelines to evaluate applicants risk and acceptability of credit card and personal loan applications




  • Achieving established individual objectives and targets; consequently, contributing to the Team’s overall objectives and targets.

    A. Credit Evaluation/Decision and Quality


    1. Ensures that the following stages were performed:

  • Pre-screening e.g. address is within the BDO trading area, age requirement etc.

    System/ Duplicate checking (EAS/Cadencie/ICBS).

    Negative and Positive File Checking ( BAP/NFIS/NLDS/PEP/Fraud/Credit Bureau/ATA file).

    Phone verification or confirmation call out/ credit investigation (as needed).
