Credit Controller

Minimum Requirements

• Matric or relevant NQF 4 qualification
• 2-4 years experience in a Credit Controller position
• Valid drivers licence and own transport
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively resolve conflicts and problems
• Strong attention to detail
• Fluent in English

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Open new debtor’s accounts within 7 days of obtaining:
• Bank Codes
• Credit References
• ITC Report
• Obtain Financial Manager’s sign off re approved terms prior to opening new account
• Communicate the agreed terms to the relevant contact person in a timely manner
• Continuous maintenance of Debtor’s master files, namely contact details, VAT number, address, company information, change of ownership, etc
