Credit Analyst

You will be responsible for assessing and approving credit applications, managing risk within a defined mandate, and contributing to the optimisation of credit processes and portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Assessment & Decisioning:

• Analyse financial information including bank statements, credit reports, and management accounts
• Make independent credit decisions within a delegated approval limit (up to R250,000 per deal)
• Identify risks, trends, and mitigating factors across applications
• Conduct detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis of applicants and counterparties
• Prepare credit recommendations and approval documentation for escalated deals
• Ensure all decisions align with internal credit policies and governance frameworks
