Job Description

We use multi-tab Excel files to track ~250 consulting firms' investment activities, both historical and current. These include acquisitions, JVs/Alliances, and significant internal moves. We have pull-down menus for categories (i.e. geo, function, industry, etc) to tag these activities. We also identify key individual decisionmakers and executives at these firms for business development outreach.
We want to move from Excel to a better user interface that allows more efficient analysis and tracking. We're not looking for custom development. Off-the-shelf programs like Grist are an attractive option. We would want the database designed and data ported over to an online environment that can be accessed by 1-3 people on our staff.
