Job Summary

The Crane Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cranes to lift, move, position, and place heavy materials and equipment at construction sites, warehouses, ports, or industrial facilities. The role requires strict compliance with safety standards and close coordination with site personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate mobile, tower, crawler, or overhead cranes to lift and move materials
• Inspect crane equipment daily before operation to ensure safety and functionality
• Follow load charts, lifting plans, and site instructions accurately
• Communicate clearly with signalmen, riggers, and supervisors during lifting operations
• Ensure proper rigging and secure loads before lifting
• Monitor crane stability, wind conditions, and surrounding hazards
