Crane & MHE Operator

Overview

This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP. Under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, the Crane Operator / MHE operator is responsible for the operation of a variety of hoist and gantry cranes, movement, loading and unloading containers as well as operating MHE equipment, and will interpret load charts and plans all lifts. Responsible for daily safety inspection and safe operation of all equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates hoist and gantry cranes to support completion of projects
• Operates MHE equipment to support completion of projects
• Perform manual labor with hand tools when required
• Assist with other tasks when not operating hoist/gantry crane equipment or training
• Perform equipment inspections of all equipment to ensure proper maintenance and daily checks, pre‑ and post‑inspections
