Craftsperson Fitting - Plant Centre

Job Introduction

An opportunity is available for a Craftsperson Fitter based within the Plant Centre at our depot in Ty Coch., Cwmbran. In this role you will be required to undertake maintenance of plant and switchgear up to 66kV. Candidates are required to have Grade A*-C/4-9 GCSE in English and Maths or Functional Skills Level qualification in both subjects. Evidence of your qualifications will be required prior to appointment.

Main Responsibilities

In this role you will assemble package sub-stations, metering units and automation equipment. Acceptance testing and protection testing will also be part of your duties as such you will need to have fundamental electrical knowledge and basic electronic principles understanding.

Ideal Candidate
