General Duties within the contextof the classroom:

You will be expected to carry outthe professional duties of a teacher as outlined in the School Teachers’ Payand Conditions Document currently in operation, or any subsequentlegislation.

• Working within the stated aims and ethosof the trust and school
• Within the context of the classroom:
  • Planning, preparing and deliveringlessons giving balanced curriculum access for all children.
  • Setting, marking, evaluating andreflecting on / responding to progress and attainment of individual pupils.
  • Providing a stimulating learningenvironment for children to work in.
  • Assessing and recording andanalysing pupils’ progress systematically and making reports as appropriate tothe Headteacher, co-ordinators and keeping parents informed about their child’swork and progress.
