About the Role

Justteachers is recruiting a confident and organised Cover Supervisor to support the Maths department in a secondary school based in Sowerby Bridge. This is a full-time, long-term supply role, offering consistency and the opportunity to build strong relationships within the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 during teacher absence.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
  • Maintain a calm, purposeful classroom environment with effective behaviour management.
  • Support students with mathematical tasks and encourage problem-solving.
  • Follow school policies and provide feedback to teaching staff as required.

Pre-requisites

  • Experience working with young people in a secondary school setting.
