The Counterpoise Inspector oversees and inspects the installation, maintenance, and replacement of transmission line grounding systems (counterpoise) to ensure full compliance with standards, project specifications, and safety requirements. Serving as a field representative, this role closely monitors contractor performance, verifies construction quality, and documents project progress from initial installation through final acceptance. The position requires deep knowledge of transmission line construction practices, strong field presence, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, operations personnel, and contractors.
