Job Description

Make a difference as a District Counsellor at the Inclusive Education Department in Hope, B.C. Support students and families with mental health services and community connections.

You will work primarily with K-12 priority learners, especially in elementary schools. This role focuses on delivering services, advocating for inclusivity, and leading significant initiatives related to safety and wellbeing within the district.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead district initiatives in SOGI and VTRA
• Work flexible hours to accommodate student needs
• Partner with Integrated Child and Youth Team
• Provide training and consultation on inclusive practices
• Collaborate with Indigenous communities and school staff

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Counselling with a school focus
• Valid B.C. Teaching Certificate
• Strong communication skills
