School District No. 20 (Kootenay-Columbia) is hiring a District Elementary Counsellor for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This is a vital role centered around Cognitive-Theory-Based Counselling and Trauma Informed Practice.
In this 0.6 FTE temporary position, you'll ensure that elementary students receive comprehensive counselling support. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s Degree in Counselling and BC Certification with a Bachelor of Education Degree. You will work collaboratively with school teams and community agencies to implement effective counselling strategies and maintain supportive therapy practices.
