About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Council Solicitor to provide trusted legal advice across the organisation. Working within the Governance team, you'll be the go-to legal expert for a broad range of matters, helping Council make informed decisions, manage risk and meet its legislative obligations.

In this varied role, you'll provide practical and commercially focused legal advice, review and negotiate contracts and agreements, interpret legislation and support governance activities.
