Job Description

We are recruiting a Project Costing Specialist for our clients, a large Engineering company in County Kerry. You will be responsible for project cost control, manage resources and support project planning and pricing strategies to maximize profitability and cost-effectiveness from the offer stage through to final handover and delivery of complex electromechanical engineering projects. This is a permanent position with a hybrid working week option based in County Kerry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of production cost estimates for inclusion in sales tender offers.

  • Assist in the preparation of cost assessments for optional technical features to be included as part of tender proposals

  • Pre-cost calculations (budgets) for new project contracts.

  • Financial project reviews and analysis

  •  Identify cost overruns and their root causes by comparing actual costs to initial budgets.
