Costing Engineer

Summary of Job Function :

To communicate with customer and disseminate/ coordinate customer enquiries. Explore more sales from existing and new customers

Job Scope:

• To negotiate or close deal on product pricing.
• To handle customer complaints and work closely with customer service team for the closure.
• To coordinate
  customer RFQ (Request for Quotation)
  which includes sourcing for unique and exclusive material; quotation for sub-contracting process, service, and tooling; coordinate the feasibility study from respective engineering department; sales follow up after quote submission.
• To liase and support customer general request e.g. RFI (Request for Information), customer survey, transportation, hotel and dinner reservation concerning customer visit.
• To conduct market research to identify potential sales lead and coordinate company sales and marketing campaign in international trade show
