Cost Analyst

Job Summary
The Junior Cost Analyst – Food Sourcing supports the procurement and sourcing teams by collecting, analyzing, and reporting cost data related to food raw materials and suppliers. The role focuses on building cost visibility, tracking price movements, and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and supplier cost analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and organize cost data for food raw materials & ingredients,
Assist in preparing basic cost breakdowns (raw material, processing, logistics, duties)
Track cost changes and support variance analysis against budget or prior periods
Support evaluation of supplier price quotations and comparisons
Assist sourcing managers with data for supplier negotiations and renewals
Maintain supplier cost records and pricing history
Monitor commodity price trends and market updates (grains, cereals, spices, oils, dairy etc.)
Track input cost drivers such as freight, FX, and seasonality
