Cost Accounting Supervisor

Qualifications

• Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, finance, or related field
• With minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience in Cost Accounting and with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Job Description

• Oversee all cost accounting functions, ensuring accurate recording, analysis, and reporting of production and operational costs.
• Maintains cost systems, conduct variance analysis and provides management with actionable insights to control cost and improve profitability
• Supervise and coordinate all cost accounting activities and staff.
• Develop and maintain a robust cost accounting system for product and process costing.
• Ensure accuracy of Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM), Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and inventory valuation.
• Provide management with detailed cost analyses, variance reports, and cost control recommendations.
